Aspiring member of Parliament for Kwesiminstim, Philip Fiifi Buckman (Esq) has advised Muslim youth not to allow themselves to be used by desperate politicians to cause violence in the forthcoming elections.
Fiifi Buckman, an astute lawyer believes as the 2020 elections beckons, some politicians have planned evil but the Muslim youth shouldn’t allow themselves to be used to execute these evil plans.
Addressing the Muslim community at Kwesiminstim during the celebration of the Eid-al-Adha festival, Lawyer Fiifi Buckman noted that Islam has no place for violence, and Muslims are generally peaceful people. He added, however, that the misbehaviour of a few misguided youth from the Zongos has often led to negative branding.
He therefore, urged Muslims and residents of Zongo in general to stand up against plotters and perpetrators of electoral violence to help maintain the peace in the country.
Lawyer Fiifi Buckman also urged the Muslim youth to channel their energies to something more productive instead of political violence.
As a person with development at heart, Lawyer Fiifi Buckman donated two trips of stones for the construction of central mosque in Kwesiminstim.
He however, urged the constituents to give him the Kwesiminstim parliamentary seat in the December polls to develop the Constituency.
Lawyer Fiifi Buckman will be contesting for the Kwesiminstim Constituency parliamentary seat in the forthcoming elections on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
