The Head of Communications for Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Sarfo Duku (Esq) has confirmed that, the club will part ways with ten players.
According to Sarfo Duku, the team signed ten players to augment the old squad ahead of the next season’s CAF Champions League campaign.
“We have signed 10 players which is equally the same players who will leave the club. The Africa terrain is different that’s why we have made such inclusions”, he told Light FM.
He explained that, the new players were based on recommendations from the technical bench as well as other technical brains close to the team.
Already the team have released defender Daniel Darkwah who is close to Enyimba FC move in the Nigeria top-flight league.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko have submitted 25-man squad to CAF with two players to be added later for the next season’s CAF Champions League campaign which start on August 9, 2019.
