Young Apostles Football club has sent a goodwill message to their division one counterparts, Nzema Kotoko as they prepare to take on Premier League side, Obuasi Ashantigold in the NC Special Competition tier 2 final at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Sunday, June 30, 2019.
The Nzema based club made it to the final of the tier 2 competition after beating Unistars Academy 2-1 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium in the semi-finals.
Sammy Addo who is the club President of Young Apostles FC in an interview said ” I’m delighted to see a Division one said Nzema Kotoko in the finals of the NC Special Competition tier 2, because their presence gives credence to value of the NC Competition and the Division one clubs. They should go all out and show the Premier League clubs that the Division one clubs have quality
Meanwhile, the winner of the NC Special Competition tier 2 automatically lands the chance to represent Ghana in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
