Black Stars deputy captain, Kwadwo Asamoah says the team has prepared enough for the AFCON 2019.
Ghana pitched camp in Dubai to prepare for the AFCON where they engaged in two friendly matches against Namibia and South Africa.
According to Asamoah, the camping in Dubai alone was enough for the Black Stars as they look forward to end the 37 years of not laying a hand on the giant trophy.
“We have prepared enough for the tournament. We camped in Dubai where we played two friendlies. We are professionals and we are ready for the tournament even though we can’t underrate any team”, Asamoah told Oti Adjei of TV3.
Meanwhile, Ghana will begin the AFCON campaign against the Squirrels of Benin later tonight at the Ismailia Stadium before taking on defending champions, Cameroon in the second fixture.
