Ashantigold Sporting Club newly signed defender Kwadwo Amoako says he snubbed a bumper deal from Asante Kotoko to join the Miners based on advice from his pastor.
The former Eleven Wonders right back landed a four year deal at Ashgold following his spectacular form for the Techiman based side in the NC Special Competition.
The deal was announced by Ashgold yesterday after the center back put pen to paper on a four year deal.
In just some news hours after inking terms with the Obuasi based side, Amoako disclosed that, he joined Ashgold based on directives from his church pastor.
“I snubbed Asante Kotoko by following my heart and my pastor’s advice to join Ashgold”, Amoako said.
Kyfilla.com understands, teams like Dreams FC, Medeama Sporting Club were all in race for his signature.
