Black Stars forward Jordan Ayew was named the Man-of-the-match after Ghana’s 2:2 draw against Benin on Tuesday.
The Black Stars were held to a 2:2 draw in group F encounter against the Squirrels of Benin on Tuesday at the Ismailia Stadium.
Jordan Ayew who scored Ghana’s second goal in the encounter was voted as the Man-of-the-match ahead of Mickael Pote who scored a brace in the fixture.
Pote opened the scoreline as early as as the second minutes for Benin before Andre Ayew could restore parity in the 9th minutes.
Jordan made it 2:1 for the Black Stars but Mickael Pote brought Benin at par with his 63rd minutes tab in.
Black Stars defender, John Boye was shown the second yellow card in the game for delaying which will see him missing Ghana’s next game.
Ghana will play as visitors to defending champions, Cameroon in the second fixture on June 29, 2019 at the Ismailia Stadium before taking on Guinea-Bassau in the last group game.
