Despite being considered as legends at Hearts of Oak, the duo of Charles Taylor and Bernard Dong-Bortey have been excluded in the club’s all-time eleven.
The duo are considered as legends as far as Hearts of Oak is concerned due to their outstanding performances and achievements with the Accra-based side.
Charles Taylor was an integral member of the Hearts of Oak squad that won the 2000 CAF Champions League title. He also won the Ghana Premier League titles, FA Cup’s before moving to Asante Kotoko.

His partnership with Ishmael Addo and Emmanuel Osei Kuffour is still considered as the deadliest attack ever in the Ghana Premier League.
Bernard Dong-Bortey on the other hand, won the 2004 CAF Confederation Cup title with the Phobians and was a coy figure in the team then.
But according to a compilation from Africa Classic, the duo were not included in Hearts of Oak all-time best eleven.
In posts, they chose Sammy Adjei ahead of Eben Dida.

Defensively, Stephen Tetteh partners Emmanuel Armah in the heart of defence while Amankwah Mireku and Jacob Nettey complete the right and left-back roles respectively.
Adjah Tetteh teams up with Shamo Quaye and Sam Johnson to form a midfield trio.
