Fast rising Ghanaian rapper, Andy Agyemang popularly known in showbiz as YPee has passionately appealed to government to fix the bad roads killing Ghanaians in the country.
Many celebrities have died as a result of how deplorable most roads in the country have become with songstress Ebony Reigns as an example of those who have lost their lives due to the horrific nature of roads in Ghana.[ads2]
According to statistics, from January to October 2020, there were nearly 12,100 road traffic accidents in Ghana which involved over 20,400 vehicles. Moreover, the crashes led to 2,080 fatalities and 12,380 injuries.
Most of these accidents were as a result of the bad nature of roads in the country.[ads3]
Joining a trend on social media (twitter) with the hashtag #FixGhana, YPee has appealed to the government to immediately save Ghanaians from dying in road accident by fixing the various deplorable roads as well providing streetlights to ensure maximum protection.
He wrote that, “People Are Dying On Our Poor Roads, We Need Street Lights & The Roads Fixed! Driving At Night Has Really Become Dreadful & Dangerous 🤦♂️ #FixTheCountry #FixGhana.”[ads5]
