Former Sekondi Hasaacas striker, George Ekow Annan has reiterated his desire to play for the Black Stars of Ghana, if the time is right.
The striker who now plies his trade with Niger side AS Police is very optimistic of a dream debut with the Black Stars, but cautioned that as a player is aiming higher, the player shouldn’t also forget to achieve something like a property that he can rely on when his footballing career comes to an end.
Speaking exclusively to Takoradi based radio station ROK FM, George Ekow Annan said – “it is my wish to see myself one day wearing the national colours and representing my country at all fronts but hey as you are aiming higher, don’t forget to land for yourself a property that you can rely on when you eventually retire from football”.

Ekow Annan was also not happy with the abrupt end to the Niger football league as his team[AS Police] were in a pole position to qualify for the CAF Confederations cup based on their form in the Challenge Cup.
“My team AS Police was in the semi finals of the Niger Challenge Cup where we believed we were capable of winning to qualify for the CAF Confederations cup to represent Niger next season but everything happens for a reason so we will pick up from where we left off when it safe to play football once again”.
Ekow Annan was the debut Skipper for Hasaacas in the 2016/2017 Division One League and had formerly played for King Faisal in the top-flight.
