Stephen Appiah has heaped praises on Black Stars captain Andre Ayew for his outstanding leadership.
The Swansea United forward won the heart of the former Black Stars skipper[Stephen Appiah], who led Ghana to its maiden appearance at the world stage in FIFA World Cup in 2006, with his leadership skills.

Andre Ayew became the first captain to lift the FIFA Under – 20 World Cup when he led the Black Satellites to the title in 2009.
Coach Kwesi Appiah confirmed Andre Ayew as the substantive captain for the 2019 African Cup of Nation and pushed Asamoah Gyan to the General Captain position, a new position in the Black Stars team.
Appiah touched on Ayew’s leadership skills in his latest media engagement – “Andre is a leader. The way he talks and the way he acts. Andre always wanted to win and will give everything on the pitch.”

“He has leadership skills and I see a good leader,” the former Hearts of Oak midfielder told Joy FM.
Andre Ayew has netted 15 goals in 88 appearances since making his debut against Senegal in 2007.
