Chairman of South African giant Maritzburg United, Farook Kadodia has denied reports that Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Ofori is moving out of the team.
According to media speculations, the 26-year old will be joining a new team after the end of the 2019-20 season with Orlando Pirates leading the race.

Mr. Kadodia has denied the reports, stressing that’s no club has officially written to his outfit [Maritzburg United] for the services of the Ghanaian goalkeeper which means the former Wa All Stars netminder will be going nowhere at the end of the season as being speculated.

In an interview with Kumasi based Ashh FM, Mr. Farook Kadodia said that, “As at the moment Ofori is my player. He is not going anywhere at the moment because there is no negotiations yet.”
Richard Ofori has been spectacular for Maritzburg United this season and considered as the best goalkeeper in the South African league ahead of Dennis Onyango.

He has kept ten clean sheets, conceding fifteen in twenty-two matches in the South Africa Premier League this season.
