Edmund Ackah who was the Accra Rep for Kotoko during the days of Kjetil Zachariassen as the head coach of the club, has indicated that, at a point in time coach Zachariassen tried to invade tax whilst receiving monthly salaries and other allowances at Kotoko.
This comes when coach Kjetil Zachariassen had earlier attacked the Kotoko management, labelling them as corrupt but, excluding the Chief Executive Officer George Amoakoh.
In his response, Edmund Ackah has warned coach Zachariassen not to label anyone at Kotoko as corrupt especially the deputy Accra rep Nana Kwame Danquah.

“Zachariassen is a criminal, this is somebody who was trying to bring in an U-17 goalkeeper from Cote d’ivoire to Asante Kotoko when we had the likes of Felix Annan, Kwame Baah, Danlad and Muntari Tagoe which management opposed to that.
“Same management he’s attacking today alerted him on his coaching Certificate that it was inappropriate which he didn’t know.
“This same coach tried evading tax when he’s paid and was paying school fees of some Journalists at Light FM to propagate his agenda.
“I can speak for myself and my brother Nana Kwame Dankwah, we are not working for Kotoko because of our belly, he should get that and ask the one who employed him if my brother and I are after Kotoko money.

“If people are in Kotoko for their stomach, then he should look elsewhere because me and Nana Kwame Dankwah don’t do that and were not there because of our stomach”, Ackah told Oyerepa FM.
Coach Zachariassen was appointed the head coach of Asante Kotoko in July 2019 after resigning from Ashgold Sporting Club.
He was sacked by Kotoko in just four months after assuming the position as the head coach following the team’s elimination from both the CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup last year.
