Paul Dogboe, father of Ghanaian boxer Isaac Dogboe has urged Ghanaians to give President Akufo-Addo another four-year term in this year’s general elections.

According to Mr. Paul Dogboe, President Akufo-Addo has been impressive since assuming office as the President of Ghana in 2016.

In an interview with Awake TV, Paul Dogboe indicated that he get worried when people talk ill about the President.

“I get worried when people say crazy things about the president. He is not young and can keep the ground running.”

“Akufo-Addo is a great man and he has to analyze things before taking decisions.”

“I think Ghanaians should give him another chance in 2020.” Paul Dogboe said on Awake Sports on Awake tv on Friday March 20.

Paul Dogboe was the brain behind the success story of Ghanaian boxer Isaac Dogboe when he was serving as the manager, trainer, agent and psychologist.

He guided his son (Isaac Dogboe) to twenty victories until he lost his super bantamweight title to Mexican Emmanuel Navarrette in December 2018 and lost the rematch on May 2019 to the same boxer.

Currently, Isaac Dogboe has taken a break as he began studying for his bachelors which he had to defer due to the demanding nature of his career as a boxer.
