Aduana Stars defender Farouk Adams has been remanded in police custody for two weeks after a court hearing on Thursday, March 4, 2021.
The experienced defender has been in police custody for days after hitting a police officer with his car and leaving the officer to death.[ads2]
The court hearing was diverted to the Berekum Circuit Court instead of Fiapre Circuit Court as it was reported on Wednesday.
Farouk Adams was taken to the Berekum Circuit Court this afternoon at 11am and was called upon at 12pm to the Box for his account[ads3]
The Player in question did not otter a word after the the judge of the court, his Lordship Osei Kofi Amoako put to him the charge of two counts laid on him, instead of him, his lawyer Baffour Akoto spoke on his behalf.[ads4]
Upon what the Lawyer for Farouk Adams said to the Court, the Judge his Lordship Osei Kofi Amoako made a pronouncement that Farouk Adams should be taken to remand for two weeks at the police custody back in Wamfie where the actual incident occurred and be taken back to the Court on Thursday, March 18, 2021.
