Be truthful to your supporters for once – Egyapa Mercer tells NDC leadership

The NPP member of Parliament for Sekondi constituency, Lawyer Andrew Egyapa Mercer has urged the leadership of the opposition NDC to tell their supporters the truth about the 2020 elections.

According to the lawmaker, the leadership of the NDC have been lying to their supporters that John Dramani Mahama who was the flagbearer for the party in last year’s election won the presidential contest but the Electoral Commission manipulated the results.

He stated on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo show that, per what is going on at the Supreme Court clearly point to the fact that President Akufo-Addo won the contest fairly.

Hon. Egyapa Mercer believes what is going on at the Supreme Court indicate that the Electoral Commission never manipulated the results but the NDC want to make it seems so.

“…right from the very outset, they have embarked on a petition of deception and for once, they should be truthful to their supporters . . .”, he stated emphatically during a panel discussion on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo”.
