The Noguchi Memorial Institute has opened investigations on allegations of the falsification of Covid-19 test results.

This comes after one Kofi Acheampong alleged that the institute falsified his Coronavirus test.

According to Mr. Kofi Acheampong, he went for a Coronavirus test on January 10, 2021 at the Noguchi Memorial Institute after the British Airwaves directed him to do so before travelling abroad.

He explained that the test came positive and was contemplating when all of a sudden someone called from the Institute, asking him to pay Gh¢500 for them to overturn the result, of which he paid and was given a negative test result.
