WAFA Sporting Club supporters chairman, Yohanes Hadzor Nugbe has made a mockery of the quality of Asante Kotoko import Fabio Dos Santos Gama.

According to Hadzor Nugbe, the Brazilian midfielder will always warm the bench at WAFA if he is supposed to pay for the Sogakope club.

“If Fabio Gama was to be at WAFA, he will be a retired player and even if he is part of the team, he will be a bench warmer”, Hadzor Nugbe said on Ashh FM.

Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko travel to Sogakope to face WAFA SC in week nine of the Ghana Premier League this weekend, with the Porcupine Warriors hoping to end their winning drought in Sogakope.

Speaking about the cagey encounter this weekend, Yohanes Hadzor Nugbe believes his outfit will beat Asante Kotoko at Sogakope to maintain their fine form at home despite losing some key players.

“A year by now, WAFA would have been crowned as the Champions of Ghana Premier League, but we were very happy when we heard that the President of Ghana has eased the restrictions on supporters from entering the various stadiums to support their teams and as we speak now we are in a meeting now discussion the number of supporters we will take to the stadium and how we can follow the covid-19 protocols”

“Kotoko have never won at Sogakope before and whatever it takes, we [WAFA] will take all the 3 points and if possible 3 goals. Victory is our hallmark and a stalemate at home is a defeat to us “, he added.
