Ghana Premier League heavyweight, Asante Kotoko are reportedly close to signing talented attacker Zakaria Mumuni.
According to a close source, the 24-year old has reached the apex of negotiations with Asante Kotoko with the deal likely to be announced before their CAF Confederation Cup game against ES Setif.[ads2]
The news come as no surprising as the former Aduana Stars attacker few days ago declared his readiness to play for the Porcupines should they offer him a lucrative deal.
Mumuni is currently a free agent after ending his stay with Congolese giant AS Vita Club.[ads3]
His inclusion will come as a great boost to the Asante Kotoko squad as they look forward to compete very well in the ongoing CAF Confederation Cup.
Zakaria Mumuni joined AS Vita Club in January, 2019 after leaving Ghana Premier League side Aduana Stars.[ads4]
He was one of the core figures for Aduana Stars before leaving for Congo.
He has also played for WAFA SC where he was once the Ghana Premier League player of the season.[ads5]
